Travel access in gaming isn't necessarily a bad thing, but too much of it can become so.įlying in World of Warcraft was a big controversy back in the day due to allowing players to bypass a core feature of adventuring through the land by passing over monsters and avoiding damage, allowing the player to complete quest and level up faster, as well as passing over content and scenery the player would have seen had they been adventuring on foot. With these two quest, you are given access to an underground passage to bypass the swamp with all the Ghast and the ability to construct a bank in Burgh de Rott, which in turn make Barrows naturally easier for the player, since it ties in with game quest and mechanics. These quest have 3 novice-medium quest that carry no large difficulty for the average Runescape player. In Search of the Myreque and In Aid of the Myreque are two quest that open up more of the Mort'ton and Burgh de Rott. With the introduction of this teleport, it allowed easier banking and made the minigame easier than it needs to be by allowing faster banking time and bypassing a questline and a diary that served the same purpose. This post will have nothing to do with Barrows and rune prices, as they haven't seen a drastic change from the teleport.īarrows teleport allows you to teleport straight onto the Barrows minigame. I know post have been made about the Barrows Teleport and/or Mort'ton Teleport in the past, but I want to give my opinion on this teleport and why it's a symptom of bad game integrity the game struggles with.
